Assistant Professor

Having spent many years on Campus, as student, staff and faculty, Ugis continues in an adjunct faculty capacity, both in Mining Engineering and, in Community Health and Epidemiology.
In his “day job”, he is Head, Science Section, Climate Change and Health Office, Health Canada, Ottawa. The Office is occupied with preparing Canadians, as individuals, professional(s)/groups, and communities, for the anticipated adverse health effects of Climate Change.
