Project Management

James Hendry is a Mining Engineer with extensive experience in mine operations and engineering. Over a career of more than 34 years since graduation from Queen’s mining program he has worked in mining operations and development across diverse mineral
commodities and mining technologies around the world.
Recently he was principal and partner in Roscoe Postle Associates (RPA) providing geological and mining engineering expertise to a broad spectrum of international clients. He has extensive experience in ore reserve estimation and mine planning using digital modelling techniques. Prior to his involvement in RPA with the consulting business he worked in the coal industry for Consol and Denison Mines Ltd., the base metal industry with Curragh Resources Inc., and the gold industry with Granduc Mining inc., and Black Hawk Resources Inc.
Jim has worked in executive management, operations management, engineering and technical support. He has been involved in mine design, and new project development operations evaluation and optimization, project feasibility studies, financial modelling and analysis, environmental management, mine closure planning and site reclamation.
As a mining consultant, he has worked on an extensive number of projects providing a range of services from mineral reserve estimation to reserve audits, due diligence reviews, technical reviews and feasibility studies for underground and open pit operations around the world.
